Radium Engineering OEM fitment fuel rail for BMW S54 Engine, M3/Z3/Z4
This big bore fuel rail is machined, polished, laser etched and then anodized for a stealth surface finish. It is compatible with OEM and aftermarket fuel injectors. It features a large 0.65″ internal bore with 3/4″-16 female threads (-8AN O-ring port) at each end to accept a variety of adapter fittings for custom high flow fuel system builds. It is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85. It is a direct bolt on for all S54 BMW engines including:
2001-2006 BMW M3
2001-2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe
2001-2002 BMW Z3 M Roadster
2006-2008 BMW Z4 M Coupe
2006-2008 BMW Z4 M Roadster
2002-2011 Weismann Roadster MF3
All configurations include a 3/8″ NPT plug for the center port and a 3/4″-16 plug for the front port. Also included are stainless steel mounting tabs and hardware preassembled using aluminum rivet nuts.
This configuration includes all the parts required to replace the OEM fuel rail. A -6AN adapter and E85 compliant -6AN PTFE replacement fuel feed hose is included which connects to the BMW fuel pressure regulator using a billet adapter, as shown below. This is an excellent direct bolt-in upgrade for a stock or slightly modified fuel system.
The front port of the Radium fuel rail is machined with 3/4″-16 (-8AN) threads. Instead of using the included plug, a billet aluminum adapter can be installed enabling the use of a Radium fuel pressure gauge, as shown. More info on the Radium Fuel Pressure Gauge can be seen HERE.
A 3/8″ NPT port is machined in the center port. A standard 3/8″ NPT plug is included with the kit. However, an optional fuel pulse damper can be installed alternatively. A pulse damper absorbs injector pulses which can cause fluctuation in fuel pressure, especially with high flowing aftermarket fuel injectors. See picture below:
